AmeriTrust founder Peter Justen to receive healthcare innovation award at Oxford summit

AmeriTrust Solutions founder Peter Justen will be recognised in Oxford next week for work that has shaped the fast-evolving landscape of healthcare technology and public-sector modernisation.

His selection for the Healthcare Innovation Leadership Award at the 15th World Leaders Summit highlights renewed global momentum behind digital tools that strengthen health systems, improve access to care, and reduce administrative pressure. The event brings together policymakers and senior figures exploring new models for delivering public services at scale.

Justen, who leads the Washington DC-based firm, will receive the honour at Keble College’s O’Reilly Theatre on 16 December. The award acknowledges his contribution to creating technology designed to streamline complex processes that underpin healthcare delivery.

The summit, organised by Global Empire Events, will convene representatives from around 30 countries to discuss infrastructure, cross-border collaboration, and practical approaches to public-service reform. World Leaders Summit operates from the UK, India and the UAE, and hosts a series of international gatherings involving government officials, educators and industry leaders.

Justen said: “I am honored to be attending the event at Keble College in Oxford. And I want to thank the organizers of the event that have done an amazing job of assembling a fantastic and fabulous group of people from 30 countries around the world to honor them for helping us make the world a better place. This conference will help a lot of people do a lot of things to make this world a better place to live. I want to thank the jury selection for their diligence and their help in putting this together.”

AmeriTrust Solutions focuses on reducing friction in Medicaid enrolment through automated data verification. Its platform pre-fills applications with validated information, supports rapid eligibility checks and aims to reduce caseworker workload while improving data accuracy. The system has been adopted by states looking to strengthen compliance following increased attention on error rates and administrative burden.

Justen’s decision to launch the company was informed by his personal experience navigating the application process on behalf of his mother. The product design, shaped by his background in high-volume workflow optimisation, centres on reducing delays faced by patients and providers.

Hospitals have used the platform’s bedside enrolment functionality to identify qualifying individuals and prevent loss of coverage that can lead to uncompensated care. AmeriTrust says the approach helps recover revenue while supporting eligible applicants who might otherwise face barriers to completing paperwork on time.

World Leaders Summit will also feature discussions on health security, digital public infrastructure and international regulatory convergence. Organisers expect representation across government, industry, academia and civil society.
