Company becomes the first to centralize digital data review activities in one platform as the industry prioritizes trial efficiency

eClinical Solutions LLC, a global provider of digital clinical software and services, has introduced a digitized Integrated Data Review Plan (IDRP) within its elluminate Clinical Data Cloud. The addition makes eClinical Solutions the first company in the industry to centralize all review activities – including IDRP – within a single platform, reducing the need for external spreadsheets or multiple tools and furthering sponsors’ digital strategies across the data lifecycle.

The move comes as clinical trial sponsors are grappling with the dual challenge of ensuring data quality while providing real-time access to information. In eClinical Solutions’ most recent Industry Outlook Survey, life sciences organizations identified these as their top priorities for 2025. The new IDRP directly supports these needs by streamlining workflows, strengthening collaboration, and improving efficiency across stakeholders.

Through elluminate Data Central, users can now build, manage, and execute review plans in one place. The platform links review objectives directly to supporting materials such as listings, visualizations, and dashboards. It automatically tracks progress and completion for audit readiness, highlights objectives tied to critical data, and reduces the manual burden associated with reviews. By enabling faster execution and oversight, the digital IDRP contributes to the reduction of cycle time – described by the company as “the new currency in drug development.”

New API connections also allow users to seamlessly bring in data from the Clario eCOA platform and SAS Life Science Analytics Framework (LSAF).
