PHARMASEAL and Viedoc integrate platforms to streamline clinical trial oversight

Partnership combines PHARMASEAL’s trial management technology with Viedoc’s electronic data capture tools to improve study execution and interoperability

PHARMASEAL, developer of the Engility trial management platform, has announced a technology integration partnership with Viedoc, a global provider of electronic data capture (EDC) and eClinical solutions.

The collaboration connects PHARMASEAL’s cloud-based Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) and Electronic Trial Master File (eTMF) tools with Viedoc’s EDC platform — including its flagship solution, Viedoc Clinic — to create a more integrated digital ecosystem for clinical trial sponsors and CROs.

By combining operational and data management technologies, the integration aims to reduce system silos, streamline workflows, and support regulatory compliance across the trial lifecycle. The unified solution allows seamless data flow between study planning, execution and monitoring, enhancing oversight and accelerating timelines.

Daljit Cheema, Founder and CEO at PHARMASEAL, said the partnership addresses long-standing pain points in clinical operations:

“Running a clinical trial requires a complex web of technology — from data collection and project management to quality control, financial oversight, and patient logistics. Traditionally, sponsors have had to choose between expensive, monolithic platforms offered by large vendors, or juggling multiple ‘best-of-breed’ systems from smaller providers.

“The problem is, most systems — even within the same vendor’s suite — don’t integrate well. This leads to duplicated data, inefficiencies, and poor visibility across the trial lifecycle. Integration is often an afterthought.

“Our partnership with Viedoc connects data management and trial management systems so they can communicate in real time. Study managers get full oversight, reduced duplication, seamless navigation via single sign-on, and the freedom to choose technologies that fit their trials — without sacrificing integration.”

The PHARMASEAL Engility platform supports global clinical trial complexity through a single cloud-based CTMS. Integrating Viedoc’s EDC functionality is designed to reduce manual reconciliation, improve data quality, and enable more connected, real-time trial operations.

Bob Egner, Chief Product Officer at Viedoc, added: “Our customers are demanding interoperability across their clinical systems. This partnership with PHARMASEAL supports a truly connected eClinical experience — and reflects our shared commitment to empowering sponsors, CROs and sites with intuitive, future-ready solutions.”

Life science teams adopting the joint solution can expect to reduce system complexity, enhance data integrity, and deliver higher quality trial outcomes.
