Miebach Consulting has expanded its facilities at Abingdon Science Park, doubling its footprint within The Science Quadrant and marking a major milestone in the company’s growth. The new bespoke office unit, delivered by Kadans Science Partner, offers flexible, scalable workspaces designed to support Miebach’s expanding team and service offerings while reinforcing its connection to the Oxfordshire life sciences ecosystem.

A long-standing occupier at Abingdon Science Park since 2022, Miebach provides tailored, end-to-end supply chain solutions across pharmaceuticals, biotech, chemical manufacturing, and other industries. The company focuses on optimising the effectiveness, profitability, and sustainability of its clients’ supply chains, ensuring they remain resilient and future-ready. The new facilities were co-designed with Kadans’ in-house development team to provide dynamic office and meeting spaces that can evolve as the business grows its headcount and client network.

Abingdon Science Park spans over 500,000 sq ft and is a recognised hub for life sciences innovation, hosting companies such as Capgemini, Sherlock Biosciences, MediMab Bio, Alethiomics, and Penlon Scilogica. The site offers high-quality technical wet and dry lab spaces, bespoke office solutions, and flexible units delivered either fully fitted or as blank canvas CAT A specifications, enabling companies to scale rapidly in a collaborative, knowledge-driven environment.

Sophie James, principal consultant at Miebach Consulting, said: “Having been based on Abingdon Science Park since 2022, we appreciate the collaborative community of The Science Quadrant and the affordability of the site, and as such, were keen to stay at the Park. Working with Kadans to design our new offices has offered us the flexibility to expand both our footprint and headcount, while remaining connected to the Oxfordshire ecosystem. We are grateful for their assistance throughout, ensuring a streamlined process from start to end, enabling us to continue supporting our network of partners and customers to unleash their supply chain potential.”

Oli Appleyard, UK leasing manager at Kadans Science Partner, said: “Miebach’s extensive experience in engineering and supply chain optimisation makes them a crucial partner for the life sciences sector, taking a holistic approach to service delivery to build resilient, flexible networks. Working directly with Miebach through our in-house developers has allowed us to design bespoke office spaces that will enable the team to continue scaling the business whilst remaining a key part of the Abingdon Science Park community.”

The expansion highlights both Miebach’s growth strategy and Abingdon Science Park’s role as a leading life sciences and innovation hub in Oxfordshire, providing companies with the infrastructure and community needed to scale operations and support the UK’s growing bioeconomy.
