Brainomix extends Series C to $25.4M to support US expansion

Brainomix has extended its Series C financing by $6.5M (£4.8M), bringing the total raised in the round to $25.4M (£18.8M). The funding will support the company’s expansion in the US and advance deployment of its AI imaging platforms, Brainomix 360 Stroke and e-Lung, across multiple hospitals.

The extension round was led by existing investors Parkwalk and Hostplus via the IP Group Hostplus Innovation Fund, and included a new US-based investor, Modi Ventures.

Dr Michalis Papadakis, CEO and co-founder of Brainomix, said: “This investment reflects strong confidence in our technology and our team. With this funding, we are well-positioned to enhance customer support across the US and Europe and accelerate integration of our AI imaging platforms into clinical workflows.”

Sahir Ali, founder and general partner of Modi Ventures, added: “Brainomix has built a platform backed by clinical validation and real-world evidence showing Brainomix 360 Stroke can increase treatment rates and reduce delays in patient triage. e-Lung enables earlier diagnosis of fibrosing lung disease, supporting faster treatment decisions.”

Parkwalk is the UK’s largest growth EIS fund manager, Hostplus is an Australian industry superannuation fund, and Modi Ventures is a US-based venture capital firm investing in health tech, tech bio, and artificial intelligence.
