AES Cleanroom Technology appoints Kristie Matevish as vice president of human resources
AES Cleanroom Technology has appointed Kristie Matevish as vice president of human resources, adding a senior HR leader to its executive team as the company continues to expand its cleanroom design and construction operations.
Matevish joins the US-based cleanroom specialist with more than 20 years of experience across human resources leadership roles. She will report directly to chief executive officer Chris Miller and will sit on the company’s senior leadership team. Her remit includes talent acquisition, organisational development, HR operations, leadership development, employee experience and total rewards.
The appointment comes as AES Cleanroom Technology continues to grow its footprint across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences and advanced technology markets, where demand for modular and customised cleanroom facilities has remained strong.
Miller said the role of HR leadership is increasingly important as the company scales its workforce alongside project delivery. He said: “As AES continues to grow, investing in our people and culture is essential. Kristie’s experience developing talent and strengthening culture makes her the right leader to help us scale effectively while maintaining the values and commitment to excellence that define AES.”
AES Cleanroom Technology designs, manufactures and constructs modular cleanroom environments for regulated industries, supporting clients that require controlled environments for research, manufacturing and production. As project volumes increase, the company has been building out its internal leadership structure to support long-term growth and operational consistency.
Matevish’s background includes developing HR strategies aligned with business expansion, supporting leadership teams through periods of organisational change and strengthening internal culture during growth phases. In her new role, she will be responsible for ensuring HR systems and processes can support a growing employee base while maintaining engagement and retention.
Speaking about her appointment, Matevish said the timing and scope of the role were a strong fit with her professional interests. She said: “I’m excited to join AES at such a pivotal time in the company’s growth. The opportunity to build on a strong foundation and help shape the future of the organisation, while supporting the talented people who make it all possible, is exactly the kind of challenge I’m passionate about.”
She will be based at the company’s corporate offices in Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania, working closely with senior leaders across operations, manufacturing and project delivery.
The appointment reflects a broader trend among cleanroom and biomanufacturing infrastructure providers, where competition for skilled staff and leadership capability has increased as pharmaceutical and biotech companies accelerate facility development. Strengthening HR leadership is increasingly seen as critical to maintaining delivery timelines, quality standards and company culture during expansion.
For AES Cleanroom Technology, the addition of a dedicated vice president of human resources signals a continued focus on internal capability building as well as external growth, positioning the company to support future project demand across regulated life sciences markets.
