BioSkryb Genomics and Tecan launch single-cell multiomics workflow for faster sequencing
BioSkryb Genomics and Tecan have introduced a high-throughput single-cell workflow designed to generate sequencing-ready libraries in under ten hours.
The solution combines BioSkryb’s new ResolveOME Whole Genome and Transcriptome Single-Cell Core Kit in a 384-well format with the Uno Single Cell Dispenser from Tecan.
The new workflow enables high-resolution, parallel analysis of hundreds to thousands of single cells, supporting applications across cancer research, drug development, and precision medicine. It also reduces reliance on cell-sorting techniques such as fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS), aiming to make comprehensive multiomic analysis more accessible to researchers.
According to the companies, the integrated system simplifies cell isolation and reduces manual handling by combining BioSkryb’s single-cell multiomics chemistry with Tecan’s automated precision instrumentation. Researchers can reportedly produce high-quality genomic and transcriptomic libraries with minimal hands-on time, increasing throughput and improving consistency in single-cell studies.
“This workflow brings next-generation single-cell multiomics within reach of every lab,” said Suresh Pisharody, CEO of BioSkryb Genomics. He added that the partnership with Tecan supports the scalability needed for experiments involving thousands of cells.
Mukta Acharya, Head of Tecan’s Life Sciences business division, commented: “Pairing BioSkryb’s ResolveOME chemistry with the Uno Single Cell Dispenser allows researchers to efficiently scale their single-cell studies while maintaining high data quality and reproducibility.”
The companies said that with an emphasis on automation, scalability, and ease of use, the workflow aims to remove barriers to high-throughput single-cell research and accelerate discoveries in precision medicine and biological research.
