InduPro licenses Lonza ADC technology for oncology programmes

InduPro has licensed Lonza’s antibody-drug conjugate technologies to support development of targeted oncology therapies against up to two cancer antigens.

Lonza and InduPro have entered into a licensing agreement aimed at advancing next-generation antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) therapies for cancer.

Under the agreement, Lonza will provide InduPro with a non-exclusive worldwide licence to its GlycoConnect, HydraSpace and linker-payload technologies. The technologies will be used to develop ADC candidates targeting up to two oncology antigens.

The collaboration will combine InduPro’s bispecific antibody platform with Lonza’s ADC technologies, including GlycoConnect, HydraSpace and SYNtecan E, to support the development of targeted cancer therapies.

ADCs continue to attract significant interest across the biopharma industry due to their ability to selectively deliver potent therapies to tumour cells while limiting exposure to healthy tissue.

The agreement expands InduPro’s access to ADC development technologies as the company advances its oncology pipeline and explores new approaches for precision cancer treatment.

InduPro is developing therapies based on targeted proximity of cell-surface proteins, an approach designed to improve precision targeting in complex diseases including cancer.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The deal reflects continued industry investment in ADC technologies, which remain one of the fastest-growing areas of oncology drug development as companies seek to improve the efficacy and safety of targeted cancer treatments.
