Veeva announces expanded partnership with Roche to deliver next-generation AI CRM
Veeva Systems has extended its partnership with Roche Pharmaceuticals by implementing Veeva Vault CRM across Roche’s global pharma organisation. The platform is designed to deliver AI-enabled customer engagement, giving field teams deeper insights and personalised interactions with healthcare professionals.
“Roche and Veeva have partnered for many years,” Veeva CEO Peter Gassner said. “We are honored to extend our partnership to Vault CRM and bring the next generation of AI-enabled CRM to the global Roche Pharma field teams.”
Roche’s chief digital and technology officer Wafaa Mamilli added: “We’re excited to expand our partnership with Veeva by implementing Vault CRM across our global Pharma organization. With data and AI at its core, Vault CRM will help us create more personalized interactions, giving our teams the insights to better support healthcare professionals and the patients they serve.”
Vault CRM is part of the Vault CRM Suite of applications that underpins commercial execution in life sciences. The platform integrates Veeva AI, which delivers agentic AI through specialised AI agents for Vault CRM, including Free Text Agent, Voice Agent, Pre-call Agent, and Media Agent. These agents are designed to automate and optimise customer engagement tasks, allowing teams to focus on strategic interactions. Veeva plans to make these AI agents available from December 2025.
The partnership reflects a broader trend in pharma and biotech towards integrating AI into commercial operations, enabling more personalised engagement and improved decision-making based on insights derived from customer data. By adopting Vault CRM, Roche aims to standardise customer engagement workflows and leverage AI to enhance the efficiency and impact of its global field teams.
