BBG Advanced Therapies (BBGAT), a subsidiary of BioBridge Global and CELLforCURE, part of SEQENS Group have formed a partnership to support the development and large-scale production of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs).

The collaboration creates a transatlantic network, allowing US companies to access CELLforCURE’s European manufacturing capabilities while European companies can leverage BBGAT’s production capacity in the US.

Together, the two companies aim to enhance global CDMO capacity and provide an integrated service network to meet the complex development and manufacturing requirements of ATMP developers. BBG Advanced Therapies offers a comprehensive suite of services spanning leukapheresis, donor management, testing, cryopreservation, biomanufacturing, and assay development, all managed under a unified Quality Management System.

The company operates nine cGMP cleanrooms covering 558 m² (6,000 sq. ft.) and a 232 m² (2,500 sq. ft.) process development space. BBGAT also maintains the world’s only mobile leukapheresis center to expand patient access and support MSC-based projects while complying with FDA, EMA, and PMDA regulations.

CELLforCURE provides EMA-authorized and FDA-compliant manufacturing with proven expertise from Phase 1 through full-scale commercial production. Its 10,000 m² facility includes 3,000 m² (32,291 sq. ft.) of GMP-certified areas spread across seven independent manufacturing lines, each with eight cleanrooms. The company has established a strong track record in CAR-T and immune cell therapies and manages approximately 90% of quality control in-house, ensuring consistent high-quality drug product delivery.

The partnership aims to remove barriers in ATMP manufacturing by combining transatlantic infrastructure and expertise, enabling therapy developers to scale rapidly, conduct multinational trials, and reach patients more efficiently. By integrating global manufacturing capabilities, BBGAT and CELLforCURE now offer a scalable CDMO solution designed to accelerate the journey from concept to commercialization.
