Lightbeam Health Solutions wins 2025 Microsoft Healthcare and Life Sciences Partner of the Year
Lightbeam Health Solutions has been named Microsoft’s 2025 Healthcare and Life Sciences Partner of the Year, recognised for its use of Microsoft cloud and AI technologies to support population health management. The award places the company among a small group of global partners acknowledged for delivering innovative applications and services built on Microsoft infrastructure.
Lightbeam said the recognition reflects its work in developing AI-enabled tools that support payers and providers in value-based care programmes. The company’s platform is used for care orchestration, risk identification and workflow automation across at-risk populations.
Patrick Cline, chief executive of Lightbeam Health Solutions, said: “We are honored to be recognized by Microsoft as the 2025 Healthcare and Life Sciences Partner of the Year.” He said the award validates the collaboration between the companies and their aim to deliver trusted AI-driven tools that improve outcomes and efficiency in value-based care.
Microsoft’s Partner of the Year Awards span multiple sectors and are selected from more than 4,600 nominations across more than 100 countries. Lightbeam was chosen in the healthcare and life sciences category for its use of Microsoft cloud technology to support customers’ growth, connected experiences and patient care.
Nicole Dezen, chief partner officer and corporate vice president at Microsoft, said: “This year, our partners harnessed the transformative power of Microsoft’s Cloud and AI platforms to deliver transformative solutions that redefine the boundaries of innovation.” She added that Lightbeam is an example of how partners are using Microsoft AI tools to help healthcare organisations improve care delivery, accelerate value-based care and achieve measurable results.
Lightbeam said demand for AI-enabled population health tools continues to grow. The company reports more than $3 billion in gross savings through the Medicare Shared Savings Program and $5 billion in total value-based care savings achieved by its clients to date. It was also a finalist for Microsoft’s 2024 healthcare and life sciences award and earlier this year earned the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program Healthcare AI Certified Software designation.
The announcement comes ahead of Microsoft Ignite in San Francisco later this month, where the company will showcase partner technologies and updates across its cloud and AI portfolio. Lightbeam was also recently highlighted in Microsoft’s Dragon Copilot AI announcement for its work on clinical insights and closing care gaps in at-risk groups.
