OrganaBio has expanded access to its perinatal and peripheral blood-derived research materials through a non-exclusive distribution partnership with Bio-Connect, extending availability across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

The agreement will give researchers in the Benelux region streamlined access to a range of ethically sourced cellular materials, including cord blood, placental and umbilical cord tissue, apheresis leukopaks and primary cell products such as haematopoietic stem cells (HSCs), peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and other immune cell subsets.

OrganaBio said the collaboration is intended to support drug development and translational research programmes by improving local access to human-derived cellular inputs, alongside associated processing and logistics services.

The partnership combines OrganaBio’s donor network and cell processing capabilities with Bio-Connect’s regional distribution infrastructure and customer support, enabling services including custom cell isolation, expansion, cryopreservation and characterisation.

The company said the agreement is designed to improve continuity in research workflows by increasing reliability of supply and technical support for organisations working across drug discovery and translational applications.

OrganaBio continues to position its offering within the growing demand for standardised, ethically sourced human cellular materials used in preclinical research and advanced therapy development, particularly in immunology and cell therapy-related programmes.
